Attaining Productivity, Innovation, and all The PICAS Factors© through Inclusion and Intercultural Expertise
Almost all organizations say they want a more-inclusive workplace. Some can define what this looks like. Very few organizations achieve anything close to “full inclusion". Why? It takes a change in mindset about inclusion.
All organizations have a goal of sustained business growth. Each has its own definition. Nonetheless, applying a workforce and workplace lens to business growth identifies a common denominator. As this figure below shows, invariably some unique mix of The PICAS Factors© (Productivity, Innovation, Creativity, Agility, and Safety) is needed to grow the business. Inclusion is about achieving a workplace in which The PICAS factors may be realized.
